CELEBRITIES PART DEUX!

So yeah....I've realized that since my first post, I've seen a few more celebs...

liv tyler
She was really pretty and kind of weird. So many of us cashiers would try to meet the celebrities but I honestly couldn't care less. Which is why I think they always came to me. Anyway, she was no exception and always talked about how she wasn't a wasteful person.....as she handed me her American Express Black Card. I shouldn't be harsh, she really was nice..
Liev Schreiber
OMG.....can you be hot and sexy and a daddy and delicious all at once? cause he can. Liev Schreiber can. He's about 6'5 and juicy from HEAT to TOE. Naomi Watts is such a lucky woman lol.
Whoopi Goldberg
Saw her in passing. Saw her at a nightclub called 'SugarBar' owned by Valerie Simpson and Nick Ashford.
Valerie Simpson and Nick Ashford
So these are the two songwriters that wrote 'I'm Every Woman' 'Solid As A Rock' & "Aint No Mountain High Enough" Those are just to name a few. As a musician, they hold my highest regard and respect. Their bar in Manhattan hosts an open mic night every week, but this wasn't just any open mic. it was for talented cats ONLY. And I got to play and sing Carole King's "I Feel The Earth Move". When I finished, they all cheered for me and when I went upstairs, Ashford actually told me that I did a good job!!! So honored :) RIP Nicholas Ashford.

Michael Douglas

Saw him only in passing, seems nice enough.

Brenda K Starr

I actually got to play with her in Houston when I was a teenager. This was the first REAL professional experience I ever had as a teenager and it was thanks to a man named Jose Antonio Diaz. She's famous for her 1988 hit "I Still Believe" , which was later covered by Mariah Carey, who was Brenda's backup singer, before Mariah got her big break. This really jump started my music career and really made me believe that I could actually leave Texas and really do something with my talent.

CELEBRITIES I'VE SEEN

I've never once asked a celebrity for their autograph. This sounds perfectly normal for some people. It would sound normal because it's not everyday you see celebrities..........I DO. I see them everyday. I work at a grocery store in Manhattan. It's an all vegan and natural foods market in Greenwich Village so we get FLOCKS of celebrities.
I've also had a chance to meet celebrities in other areas of my life in different cities. I'm not saying this represent status or anything. It's still fun to see people from TV :) These are some of the people I've gotten the chance to meet.

Gwyneth Paltrow
I only saw her in passing. Very pretty.
Amy Sedaris, Comedian
I've run her up a couple times as a cashier. I thought she was really nice so I told her I was a fan. She seemed nice and said "thanks" but later I noticed she would act weird around me. Now she ignores me all together. She's kind of a weirdo in my opinion. Her brother is a famous author, one of whom I'm a big fan of. Most of his books are sort of auto-biographical so I hear things about Amy when she was a ltitle girl so when I see her, I see more than what people see on TV. I look at her and I think of the personal stories I heard about her in her brother's books.

Anjelina Jolie
Beautiful. Only saw her in passing. Had big sunglasses on. Tiny figure.

Sandra Bernhardt
She's ALWAYS in the store. I've had a couple of conversations with her. She's cool for the most part.  It's cool cause sometimes when I would bag her groceries, industry people would come up to her and talk about other celebrities or what happened in LA last weekend at the last red carpet event. Once I saw her rage about in the store complaining how she spends thousand of dollars a year at the store.
Blythe Danner
Very pretty lady. Always comes in with no makeup and has a very natural graceful beauty. Always smiles and always converses with employees :)
Cherry Jones
I love this lady! She's so sweet:) She used to always ask me about my music while I would bag her groceries. She would talk about her new projects as well (last thing she said was that she was working on a pilot in LA and I haven't seen her since). I know her work from the movie, Signs.
Chris Martin, from Coldplay Tall. Saw him in passing.
Elvis Costello & Diana Krall
Oh my God!!! First of all, Diana Krall is a seriously big influence! I love her style and her music. Me and my dad used to watch her Live Paris Show DVD. Anyway, I told her I love her music and she shook my hand. She asked what I do and I told her I was New York working on my music career (from behind the cash register lol). What an honor to do something as simple as hold a conversation with Elvist Costello & Diana Krall!!
Famke Janssen
She's as pretty in person as she is on screen. Very nice too :) I got the chance to talk to her a couple of times.
Uma Thurman
Maybe I'll explain the whole story with Uma in another blog, cuz explaining it now will take like 3 huge paragraphs. By the far the prettiest actress I've seen.
Susan Surandon
A legend in her own time........kind of a bitch.
Wallace Shawn
I love this guy! Super nice, really friendly. Always asking for the vitamin guy.
John Leguizamo
He always comes in the early morning. Literally right as the store opens. I think cause his face is that recognizable. It stands out, you know it's him at first glance. Anyway he's super short. But it's all good. He's real cool.

Mary Louise Parker
I am a HUGE FAN of her work! I think her work kicks ass. She always shows up with her children and nanny/asst. I try to be nice to her but you can tell that she knows everyone knows who he is. Sometimes actors act weird because there's a weird energy saying "we both know who you are" and it makes them  feel weird.
Parker Posey
Ok, this chick is.....interesting. She's cute an all but...yeah. The first time I met her her face was totally like "yeah, it's me, Parker Posey". Then she proceeded to tell me that she didn't need a bag. She said "so, like, yeah, I'm trying to save the world". The next time I saw her, she was talking about how she's sick and she's been working all week. She's cute, though.
William Dafoe
I met him on my first day of work. I was in training and didn't know what the hell I was doing. I took what felt  like forever for me to bag his groceries but him and his girlfriend just stood there and waited. At the end he thanked me and said "don't let those machines get the best of ya". What a great guy.
I actually met them in line at Starbucks in a hotel in Houston. I was doing a gig in one of the suites but I needed change so I went to starbucks. I stood behind them and I was thinking "man, this girl looks just like Barbie and this guy looks like a weird version of NIck Lachey". I didn't believe it til hey left and heard everyone talk about who just left.
Vin Diesel
Mmmmm. Even finer in person ;) He's a giver. He tipped both the juice bar people 50 bucks!
Michael Richards
He's a cool guy. He came in with his girlfriend, who is considerably younger. A very pretty brunette though. He's tall.
